Barboursville Vineyards and Historic Ruins

The present estate winery, vineyards and gift shop are located on 830 acres of beautiful rolling hills close to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Barboursville Vineyard presently has 126 acres of vineyards and continues to expand. Under the direction of Luca Paschina, General Manager and winemaker, Barboursville consistently produces quality wines that have won international recognition.

The Zonin family of Italy, brought their strong commitment to produce quality wines to Virginia in 1976. They were the first in the state to plant and successfully establish the revered vitis vinifera vines.

Wines - 21 including Chardonnay, Barbera, Malvaxia, Pinot Grigio, and Sparkling Brut.

Opening Times - Monday to Saturday 10 to 5 pm, Sunday 11 to 5pm.

Tasting Fees - $4.00 per person, includes glass and tasting of 16 to 20 wines (on your next visit, bring your glass and there is no charge for tasting).

Food - Light fare. You can also enjoy fine dining at the Palladio Restaurant, which promises classic dining based on the finest, locally-sourced produce available, paired with world class wines from their vineyards in Italy and Virginia.
